Davey Hamilton Returns to
Hometown Track –Thrills Thousands of Loyal Fans
September 29, 2008, Meridian Speedway – Meridian, Idaho – Hewlett Packard/
Vision Racing Driver Davey Hamilton returned to his home track this weekend for
the first time since June 2, 2001. Everyone knows what happened the following
week at Texas Motor Speedway and Davey’s heroic comeback after 21 surgeries and
years of rehabilitation. The come back could not be complete until he raced
again for his loyal fans at his home track, Meridian Speedway, Meridian, Idaho.
Loyal fans they were both Friday and Saturday night the stands were packed from
end to end to watch their hometown hero.
