of Indianapolis-based Menard Engine Group (MEG).

Hamilton to drive opening day at
Oswego
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2010) –
John Nicotra Racing, led by
2009 International Classic winner Otto Sitterly, is preparing for
another assault on the supermodified world this season which will begin
with an open practice session May 1 at Oswego Speedway. At the practice,
Otto will test the No. 7 Hawk Jr. Chassis, which he drove to his third
track championship and the Classic victory last year, and the No. 79
Xtreme Chassis, which the team purchased last August. He’ll then decide
what car he wants to drive opening day at Oswego on May 8. Indianapolis
500 veteran Davey Hamilton, who drove the Xtreme 79 in the Classic last
September, will make the trek to Oswego for the opener and drive the car
Sitterly chooses not to run. The race will mark Hamilton’s final
preparation before he heads to Indianapolis to attempt to qualify for
his 10th Indianapolis 500...
